Michael F. Walker Jr., Esq. has worked as an attorney with Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C.‘s Workers’ Compensation Department since 2014, serving as a strong advocate for clien ts in Long Island and New York City. Michael is grateful for the opportunit y to represent hard working members of his community and proudly provides e ach client with dedicated and devoted service in all aspects of their cases from initial consultations to hearings before Workers’ Compensation Law Ju dges. Prior to joining FBR, Michael worked as an attorney in commercial ban king and real estate transactions and litigation. Michael is an honors gra duate of SUNY College at Oneonta where he was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Freshman Honor Society as well as a member and captain of the One onta Rugby Football Club. Subsequently, he interned for Late Night with Con an O’Brien and worked as a legal assistant at the American Society of Compo sers, Authors and Publishers before enrolling in law school in 2010. In 201 3, Michael graduated cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law whe re he served as a Notes & Comments Editor on the Law Review and had his student note published. During his time at St. John’s, Michael received a Federal Scholars Program Award and served as a Judicial Intern for the Hono rable Magistrate Judge Tomlinson in the United States District Court for th e Eastern District of New York. Professional memberships include the New Yo rk State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and the Suffolk Cou nty Bar Association. When not practicing law, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He coaches his daughters’ intramural socc er and softball teams.
