Join the IWBA for 2024

The IWBA is dedicated to the representation of and advocacy on behalf of injured workers and provides members the opportunity to connect with attorneys that share common interests and goals.

As a member of the IWBA, you will have access to electronic discussion and email groups devoted to issues relating to the representation of the injured worker. This enables you to communicate immediately with your peers on issues that affect all of us.

We encourage you to join us, and add your name to the list of attorneys striving to preserve and protect the rights of the injured worker.

Member Types:

Member-Attorney

  • A member must be a practicing attorney. 
  • Membership is not open to attorneys that spend more than 20% of their time in the representation of insurance companies or employers. only individuals may be members; the initial membership of a member shall be the invitation of another member.
  • Annual Dues are $295 per year for attorneys.
  • The membership year shall begin on January 1 and ends on December 31 each year. Prorated dues are not offered for a partial year of membership.  
  • Member-Attorney is the only class of membership with voting rights.

Associate-Member

  • An Associate Member must be a Licensed Hearing Representative before the Workers’ Compensation Board with their license in good standing; a substantial portion of the Associate-Member’s professional practice must be the representation of claimants and injured workers; the initial membership of an Associate-Member shall be based upon the invitation of a Member-Attorney.
  • Annual Dues are $221.25 per year.
  • The Associate-Member membership year shall begin on January 1 and ends on December 31 each year.  Prorated dues are not offered for a partial year of membership.  
  • Associate-Members shall not have voting rights within the organization but shall have access to all other membership privileges.

Firm memberships are not available.  

Twenty percent (20%) of dues and/or contributions to IWBA are not deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense for this tax year because they are used to support lobbying. Your non-deductible voluntary contribution to Workers’ Compensation Alliance is our key to working to protect the legal rights of injured workers.
